Another Random Thought- Regionl Drivers

I think people all over this country have particular driving quirks. For example, people from New York are seriously aggressive. People from Boston don't think twice about making a right hand turn from the left lane. People from Pennsylvania always come to a dead stop before merging onto the highway. People in Connecticut always pull into the far right side of the lane when turning left from a side street onto a main street.

Useless Fact

Here's a useless fact that may confuse my babies as they get older and start to read maps...

Where we live in Connecticut, all the roads that say North/South actually run East/West.

Tae Kwon Do

Christopher loves tae kwon do! He's very enthusiastic, and says, "Yes, Sir!" the loudest. He tries his best to learn the kicks and punches.

Kids' Activities- Swimming

We think it's very important that the kids know how to swim, so they're getting semi-private lessons (with each other).

Kids' Activities- Soccer

Christopher and William are both taking a soccer drills class... Here are last week's highlights. Christopher likes working with the "pretty girls." In particular, he likes their nail polish!

Swimming Lessons

I have the children in semi-private swimming lessons, meaning it's just the two older boys. The instructor said they were doing fine- no behavioral problems, etc. However, he did ask if my boys were this cautious in everything they do. He found it interesting that Christopher wanted to know the physics of swimming before he would do it. See, I do have it harder than some. Christopher wants explanations for most everything he does in life, not that there's anything wrong with that...(Pictures will follow.)

First Day of Pre-School 2009

William's first day of school was Thursday, and Christopher's first day was Friday.

More Sports Camp

Robbie was a good cheer leader for his brothers, who ran in for breaks every so often.

Sports Camp- Chris

Sports Camp- Will

The older boys both went to sports camp for a week this summer. They learned basketball, lacrosse, soccer, T-ball, and hockey. Here are some of Will's highlights...

What They're Saying about Christopher

One of the other mothers told me that her daughter had been looking forward to "starting school and seeing Christopher. He's the funniest guy in class."

And one of the boys, Alex, came over to me to ask if they could have a play date. Alex is Christopher's best buddy. They love to shoot guns!

Frustration

I'm currently sick and I've had a shoulder injury for about a month. I'm so frustrated! (And whiny!)
